Wade Whimsies

The first Wade Whimsies collection began in 1953 and were made through till 1959. They were designed and modeled by William Harper and consisted of 10 sets. Each set has 5 animal figurines with the exception of set 5 which has 4. The manufacture of the Whimsies range was divided between the Manchester pottery and the Portadown pottery in Ireland. Swarovski 2012 Disney Figurines

Mickey Mouse 2012

In Febuary 2012 Swarovski released this stunning crystal figurine of Mickey Mouse. It is Approximately 10.8 x 10.4cm in size and is made from black diamond crystal with a clear crystal

Wade Hanna Barbera

In 1962 Wade introduced  Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear and Mr. Jinks. They are unmarked but orignally came with paper labels.

Wade Tom and Jerry

From 1973 to 1979 Wade produced a set of two figurines of Tom and Jerry. Both pieces are mold marked on the base with "Wade England M.G.M"

Wade Disney Blow Ups

In 1961 Wade introduced their Disney Blow Up series. These were large slip cast porcelain models of the popular Hat Box series and included such characters as Lady, Tramp, Scamp, Si, Am, Dachsie, Jock, Trusty, Bambi and Thumper. Blow Ups is what the wade employees called them due to their larger size, but they were actually marketed as Disneys. All pieces are transfer marked with either

Wade Disney Hat Box Series

In 1956 Wade launched their Disney Hat Box series with minature figurines of the characters from the popular Disney movie Lady And The Tramp. The series went on till 1965 and included characters from such Disney movies such as Bambi, 101 Dalmations, Dumbo and The Sword In The Stone.
